Amy's Must-Have Pieces for a Summer in the City Post-Quarantine
I see a faint glimmer... just a little light beckoning me back to a life that includes fashion and being around people (of course with appropriate social distancing ) and all of that means I will once again walk into my beautiful closet and pull out something other than black sweatpants and an LA Made tank top.
So what will I be grabbing as the warm weather brings us into full summer mode? And what are my must haves for this season post full quarantine? Here are a few of my favorites.
From my closet:
1. Project social T tank top– high neck and fitted, it’s casual enough to go back to the joggers I’ve accumulated during quarantine, but cool enough to throw on with jeans so that I actually feel dressed.
2. New favorite Redone high waisted relaxed jeans. The relaxed cut means they still fit even though I’ve gained a few quarantine pounds around my middle and even better, my 14 and 16 year old daughters tell me they like my outfit when I wear them.
3. Sundry light cotton gauze button down to layer over a tank or wear on its own. Classic and timeless, so it’s a never fail go-to.
4. Gold chain link 16 inch necklace: Adds the finishing touch to any outfit.
On my wish list:
1. Saint Laurent flat Tribute sandal with ankle strap (a girl can dream...)
2. A denim jumpsuit. I love Alice & Olivia’s zip up version.
3. A pair of Veja sneakers. I’ve been coveting these since my last trip to Paris.
4. The perfect black one piece bathing suit.
